ABOUT ME

 

I am a PhD student in the Department of Forest Resources Management, Faculty of Forestry University of Agriculture in Krakow. My research involves using remote sensing techniques and airborne and terrestial laser scanning to study the methods of landscape monitoring in urban forests, i.e.: the definitione of structure and dynamics (landscape metrics), reconstruction and forecasting of its changes.

I graduated in the area of Landscape Architecture at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Surveying of the University of Agriculture in Krakow. In my Master’s Thesis I was dealing with the application of airborne laser scanning (ALS) in landscape recomposition. A graduate of Post-Diploma Studies in the Geographic Information Systems and a student of the Post-Diploma Studies: Airborne and Terrestrial Laser Scanning at the Faculty of Mining Surveying and Environmental Engineering at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow.
